Today is interesting. I registered for classes and I’m not really sure what my schedule will be next semester, but I’m not too concertinaed because I definitely have monday off and I might have friday too. I got screwed by the lottery system though so by the time I was cleared to actually register practically all of the art histories were taken. Whatever.
After that was done I went on a bank spree. First was Sovereign, where I went in to sign up for a student account on the basis that it would get my roommate Sam $50 for a referral bonus. My banker, Kervin, was hilarious. He was hiding from some girl he said was his stalker, like literally checking the door every time it opened and staying hidden behind me/his computer screen. He was also totally checking one of the tellers out when she came to drop something off. He’s awesome, and I’m getting $50 now because the referral program is over and has been replaced with a signing bonus when you use the debit card 5 times in the first 60 days. Sweet. After that I went to Bank of America and ended up not signing up for a rent account because they all have fees now.
On an almost entirely unrelated note, I really want a moped (it’s kinda related because they cost money, which banks run on.) I actually just want a nice house/apartment and some nice things. Simple things, but I want to be able to have work space to make them nice. I want the $300 Batavus HS50 for sale on craigslist so bad and I want to be able to work on it. I want someplace with actual natural light, unlike my room which looks out at a brick wall. I want a place to make neat prints and posters and stuff.
I still want to build a bed, but I want a moped more.
